Biography

I have been a full-time potter developing my own forms, techniques, and glazes for over 30 years.

I started with three years of training at the Whatcom County Museum Art Studio. I experienced a month-long workshop in Northern California digging clay and chopping wood to make pots for and fire a 40-foot climbing chambered kiln which took sixteen hours.

I have had mentoring from many clay artists including Toshiko Takaezu, Jane Pizer, Warren Mackenzie, Matthew Patton, and Mel Jacobson.

I own and operate Earth Dance Pottery in Kingston, presenting an annual show with other artists.

I have participated in juried arts and crafts shows all over Washington including the Bainbridge Garden Show, U District Street Fair, and the Camlann Medieval Faire (20 years).
