Biography

On gentle spring mornings have you ever felt the warm sun on your back? Imagine that that simple warm feeling with red ants scurrying along a downed, decaying cedar. The reddened rotting cedar host to evergreen seedlings, and scurrying ants in dazzling dapples of sunlight… This is why I create, why I do it.
My father a painter in the shipyard had paint speckled fingers each afternoon returning from work. My Mother created many things, our cloths, gardens, floral arrangements, and works of art. My great aunt a painter and piano player, grandmother a quilt maker, milliner, and piano player, to live is to create. Isn’t it? -- So I paint, carve, and print.
